Privacy policy

This explains what personal data we collect when you use projiro.com or get in touch, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Projiro is a design and development studio based in London. The data controller is [Legal company name], trading as Projiro, registered in England and Wales under company number [Company number], with its registered office at [Registered address]. Our ICO registration number is [ICO registration number].

Questions about this policy or your data go to business@projiro.com.

What we collect and why

When you email us

We receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it to reply and, if we work together, to run the project. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps you ask us to take before a contract.

When you book a call

Booking happens on Calendly, which collects your name, email and any answers you give, and shares them with us so we can hold the call. Calendly's own privacy policy covers how it handles that data. Lawful basis: steps you ask us to take before a contract.

Analytics, only if you allow them

With your consent we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site so we can improve it. They record things like the pages you visit, how long you stay, your device and browser, your approximate location, and with Clarity your clicks, scrolling and anonymised session replays. Clarity masks text you type. Nothing loads until you choose “Allow all” or switch analytics on. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Basic server logs

Our hosting provider, Vercel, records technical data such as IP address, browser and the time of each request to keep the site running and secure. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

Cookies and similar storage

Only the first item below is used without asking. The rest are set only after you allow analytics.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data. We share it only with the services that help us run the studio: Google (Analytics), Microsoft (Clarity), Calendly (call booking), Vercel (hosting) and our email provider. Some of them process data in the United States; where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the UK's approved data transfer agreements.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't become projects: up to 2 years after our last contact.
  • Client project and billing records: 6 years, as UK tax law requires.
  • Google Analytics: up to 14 months. Microsoft Clarity: session replays for 30 days, aggregated data up to 13 months.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to someone else. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email business@projiro.com and we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
